Done! If you go into your profile page, you'll notice that you can now verify your email address. Afterwards you'll be able to toggle the email notification setting.

The official contact email is now [email protected]

Sure, let me see how lobste.rs is set up. In the meantime, I've found https://quiterss.org/ monitoring https://www.laarc.io/rsscomments to be effective at this.

Is that the RSS reader you use? I spent a while looking around over the holidays without arriving at a decision. (I spent 2018 without a reader after Digg Reader folded.)

Yeah! JungleCat pointed it out here: https://www.laarc.io/item?id=263 I use KeePassX for password management, so it's the perfect GUI for me.

(The default alert sound is annoying, but I changed it to /System/Library/Sounds/Pop.aiff in Options -> Notifications -> Sound.)

JungleCat has also done some impressive gamedev work. Check out his "scent map" pathfinding technique in the browser: https://www.laarc.io/item?id=274#285 Haven't seen anything like it.

It's probably time to add a "Show" section.

Is QuiteRSS related to KeePassX somehow? I looked at it, but I didn't get a sense of who the authors were and was leery of installing a desktop app in that situation.

It's unrelated. I only meant that the interfaces are both austere.
