And nice to meet you! Thanks for the compliment.

What sort of "various lean minimal pieces of kit" do you work on?

Nothing much anymore but I created a simple scheme interpreter, shell, makefile replacement https://github.com/rain-1/single_cream/ https://github.com/rain-1/s https://github.com/rain-1/makes and a gopher client https://github.com/rain-1/gopher

I've been playing a lot of Pavlov VR. Surprisingly, they have an active custom games scene. Lots of different game modes, from zombies to Among Us style traitor-vs-innocents.

I'm not sure either, to be honest. It started as an open question.

I'd be happy to implement stuff for you, though. Even if it's your own personal bookmarking service, that's still a quantum of utility. If you have any suggestions, please feel free!

Ok, there is an initial JSON API.

For any user or item, you can add .json to the endpoint. For example:

https://www.laarc.io/item?id=230

Becomes

https://www.laarc.io/item.json?id=230

And for users: https://www.laarc.io/user.json?id=nickpsecurity

I’ll add endpoints for tags like /l/news soon (and RSS feeds).

Really cool. I like the simplicity of just adding .json. If I'm looking at that right, it has all the stories I submitted in JSON so I could just grab, store, or view them with an app?

For the social side of things, hopping into discord and striking up a conversation is the best way, but I’m open to suggestions.
